I am now on the final sanding stage. I have found the smaller, thinner links more complicated to shape as there is less material to work with.
Due to the wet weather I have moved most of the work inside. These images show eight metres, about half of the sculpture’s total length.
This is the main trunk. Final sanding on this section will start tomorrow and hopefully be done by the end of the week.
